Position Description
As part of the company growth strategy, we are seeking an enthusiastic Account Development Representative (ADR) to support continued growth. The primary responsibility for this role is to help source and qualify prospective customers and qualify marketing leads within an assigned region. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting within an assigned territory to uncover new business opportunities and will be instrumental in directing leads into the appropriate conversion path while increasing pipeline velocity.
Working as part of the regional commercial team you will focus on key marketing and sales initiatives to drive business growth. The role will involve close collaboration with field sales and marketing teams and the ADR will be a key contributor to the joint success of accelerating the growth of Olink in the global Proteomics marketplace.

Primary Responsibilities
- Research, contact, and qualify prospects and marketing qualified leads (MQL’s)
- Generate qualified leads through proactive outbound targeted account prospecting
- Qualify marketing leads from trade shows, events, campaigns, and other activities/sources to potential sales qualified leads via marketing campaigns
- Prospect into cold leads, lost or “no decision” opportunities, and former customers
- Gather sales intelligence around customers’ situation, needs, and decision process
- Set up qualified appointments for field sales team
- Maintain lead/prospect contact information and notes in Salesforce to manage sales prospecting and track activities.
- Help to execute marketing campaigns to drive traffic to online and in-person events
- Provide ongoing feedback to Sales & Marketing management on ways to improve the prospecting process and increase results
- Attend regular regional meetings and update the team on the progress of activities
- Utilise Salesforce CRM to manage lead pipeline
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum 1-3 years of selling in appropriate life sciences field or equivalent relevant scientific experience
- A degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Biology, Biochemistry, Genomics, Proteomics or a related life science field
- Ability to travel approximately 10%, although position is primarily office based.
- Ability to innovate and work independently in a results-oriented environment with positive attitude
- Be a team player, a fast learner, adaptable with a drive and passion to grow sales through marketing channels
- Fluent in Italian and Spanish is required
- Previous sales experience is plus but not essential
- Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is a plus
- Has a high level of commitment to relationship building
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated
- The ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the prospect organizations via phone, social, and email
- Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Eager to do prospecting to identify new customers and interests.
